At Zaimah, we work to bring hope and joy back to a world immersed in hardships. We strive to take humanity out of the inequity and injustice which compounds to inflict the widespread suffering and poverty prevalent in the world today.
We work to save and improve the lives of millions throughout the world’s poorest countries. Zaimah is motivated by a desire to create a world in which charity and compassion bring justice, self-sufficiency and human development by alleviating poverty, increasing access to education and providing basic amenities for the needy.
The essence of our faith calls us to realise our highest humanitarian potential. No one person can do everything, but we all can do a little something. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was the most benevolent of humankind. He taught us that we all have a responsibility towards the poor, the oppressed, the weak and the infirm. Imagine what world we could build if we all made a little change? To pray a little more, to care a bit more and to give a bit more too!

Since April 2023, Sudan has been torn apart by war — families displaced, homes destroyed, and dreams lost in the chaos.
Children who should be in classrooms now hide from bullets and bombs.
More than 30 million people, including 16 million children, are caught in this tragedy. In just one week earlier this year, dozens of children lost their lives in the crossfire.
Right now, there’s little we can do but pray and raise our voices for those who can’t. May Allah protect them, ease their pain, and bring peace back to Sudan. 💙

Alhamdulillah, through your kindness, 9,000 litres of water were delivered to 5 drought-hit villages, reaching families who had gone days without a steady supply.
Children ran with joy as tanks arrived. Mothers filled their containers with tears of gratitude.

Bayan and Karang Bajo Village — areas still rebuilding after hardship, where many families depend on seasonal income and often go to bed hungry.
Children walk long distances to school, sometimes barefoot, yet their spirit remains unbroken.
On our final day, we delivered:
• 800 Essential Food Packs
• 80 School Packs & Snacks
• 10 Zakat Assistance Support
For many, this meant a meal for the week.
For children, it meant hope — through new school supplies and a reminder that they are not forgotten.
Goodness doesn’t always look grand.
Sometimes, it’s a simple act — done sincerely for Allah.

This farming community in North Lombok still struggles with basic water access after the 2018 quake destroyed their pipelines.
Despite more than 850 families lining up for water, many still wait for relief.

🇵🇸 Hope Returns to Gaza
After months of unimaginable suffering, a new chapter is unfolding. Families who were forced to flee their homes in the north are now, at last, making the long journey back — walking through the streets they grew up on, stepping into what remains of their homes, and trying to piece together the life they once knew.
To mark this deeply emotional return, Zaimah Charity 💙 organised a small celebration and distribution for those arriving home. It was simple, but deeply meaningful — a way to welcome them back, offer a moment of joy after so much pain, and remind them that they are not alone as they begin the long road of rebuilding.
This moment is more than just aid. It is a celebration of resilience, of unity, and of the unbreakable spirit of a people who refuse to give up. 🤍
May Allah grant them safety, strength and peace — and may this return be the first step towards a brighter future. 🤲🏽
