At Zaimah, we work to bring hope and joy back to a world immersed in hardships. We strive to take humanity out of the inequity and injustice which compounds to inflict the widespread suffering and poverty prevalent in the world today.
We work to save and improve the lives of millions throughout the world’s poorest countries. Zaimah is motivated by a desire to create a world in which charity and compassion bring justice, self-sufficiency and human development by alleviating poverty, increasing access to education and providing basic amenities for the needy.
The essence of our faith calls us to realise our highest humanitarian potential. No one person can do everything, but we all can do a little something. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was the most benevolent of humankind. He taught us that we all have a responsibility towards the poor, the oppressed, the weak and the infirm. Imagine what world we could build if we all made a little change? To pray a little more, to care a bit more and to give a bit more too!

These remote mountain villages are accessed via narrow, winding roads — where clean water, schooling and even basic supplies are luxuries rather than norms.

Day 1 | Sambik Elen Village
This farming community in North Lombok still struggles with basic water access after the 2018 quake destroyed their pipelines.
Despite more than 850 families lining up for water, many still wait for relief.

🇵🇸 Hope Returns to Gaza
After months of unimaginable suffering, a new chapter is unfolding. Families who were forced to flee their homes in the north are now, at last, making the long journey back — walking through the streets they grew up on, stepping into what remains of their homes, and trying to piece together the life they once knew.
To mark this deeply emotional return, Zaimah Charity 💙 organised a small celebration and distribution for those arriving home. It was simple, but deeply meaningful — a way to welcome them back, offer a moment of joy after so much pain, and remind them that they are not alone as they begin the long road of rebuilding.
This moment is more than just aid. It is a celebration of resilience, of unity, and of the unbreakable spirit of a people who refuse to give up. 🤍
May Allah grant them safety, strength and peace — and may this return be the first step towards a brighter future. 🤲🏽

They say we all share the same sky… but many children in Indonesia don’t share the same plate.
While some of us enjoy our dinner tonight, millions go hungry. As of March 2025, 8.47% of Indonesians — around 23.85 million people — still live below the poverty line.
Children scavenging through rubbish, carrying their school bags on backs instead of having refrigerators at home, sleeping in carts instead of beds. This shouldn’t be their normal — but it is.
This October, Zaimah will be in Indonesia to deliver food packs and hope to families who need it most.

Alhamdulillah, this week, 20 children in Yemen suffering from malnutrition have now received the treatment and nutrition they desperately needed.
